The 5th edition of KCUA’s “Transmit Program” focused on the creative origins of the various interdisciplinary forms of expression and unorthodox activities of the present day. None of the three artist groups participating in this program work in terms of creating so-called works of art. They have broken free from conventional frameworks and have been pursuing their own unique forms of artistic expression. Also, the members of each group are also active as individual artists, placing their work in both self expression and collaboration. The exhibition, based on the event “Yaminage 3: Throw in the Dark III” held in @KCUA 1, was designed to have the artists interfere with one another. The fresh new ideas that are borne in the process, the antagonization of the self and the other, the moment when one renounces one’s self, and the playful and energetic way of living that is emanated throughout the exhibition all demonstrate the creative potential of human beings.
