This exhibition saw artists from France, Germany, Côte d’Ivoire, and Japan exhibit work based on the theme of “water.” We are faced with the problem of water contamination through our activities, despite water being indispensable to our lives. On the other hand we are sometimes faced with the direct threat that water poses to us in the form of natural disasters. This exhibition was a chance to reassess the issues surrounding water through painting, video, photography, ceramics, and performance, and think about a subject we rarely consider in our daily lives.
