An exhibition of two up-and-coming young artists, MORISHITA Akane and SASAOKA Yuriko. The artists have termed that which is connected with physical sensation karada and that which is emotional emo, and have each constructed their own unique world view based on their own ephemeral bodily sensations and emotions. Sasaoka showed her video installation piece Atem, which deals with the artist’s fear of aging and the discord between her real age and her subjective mental age. Morishita showed paintings based on the theme of the emotional effects brought on by physical sensations and sight.
