ABOUT OUR EXHIBITIONS
Kyoto City University of Arts Art Gallery @KCUA presents special exhibitions planned by the gallery’s curators, exhibitions that demonstrate the university’s research and curriculum, and open call exhibitions by KCUA students, alumni, and faculty. All exhibitions are presented free of charge to make the experience of viewing art accessible to all, and to offer the chance to become familiar with the university’s activities.
@KCUA is not available for rent. Horikawa Oike Gallery, located in the same building (rooms “Gallery A,” “Gallery B,” and “Gallery C”), is available to the general public. For more information, please refer to Kyoto Municipal Horikawa Music Senior High School’s website for their concert hall and Horikawa Oike Gallery (in Japanese only):
Those specifically wishing to receive a gallery tour should contact @KCUA directly. Tours of ongoing exhibitions by the curator in charge may be arranged. Workshops, etc. by artists may also be available on a case-by-case basis for educational purposes. (Please note that not all requests can be met, and that no translation will be provided.)
